    Description
    Lead in the organisation, co-ordination and delivery of the Rheumatology Physiotherapy service, providing specialist expertise in the management of children with inflammatory conditions (including pain management) and non-inflammatory musculoskeletal presentations. This involves input to the Rheumatology service, in addition to inpatients and outpatients across the trust. To meet the national standards of a service caring for children with inflammatory and non-inflammatory joint conditions.

    Main duties include:
    Assess, treat and manage Inflammatory and Non-Inflammatory patients in the clinic, outpatient and ward settings. Lead the Rheumatology Physiotherapy service for clinical provision, staff development/appraisal and teaching. Liaison with the wider MDT and external agencies in the planning of patient care. The salary for this role is approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum.
