CNC Programmer

Coventry
**£ £17.50 per hour

Days Regular Shift**Metalis are currently supporting a subcontract CNC machining company who are looking to add a CNC Miller to their team.

You will be performing Online and Offline programming duties.


This is a Days regular shift operating on the pattern below:

_Monday - Thursday__ am until 4.00pm

Friday am until 3.00pm - Friday
- **Role Outlined**:You will be working on Fanuc and Heidenhain control systems and performing online and of line programming duties (Hypermill software and Fusion 360 software)
Daily Duties:

  • Producing a wide variety of precision components for all industries including tooling, aerospace and Oil & Gas
  • You will be involved with small batch work and medium runs
  • You will be using all material types including harder metals/alloys
  • If you have experience of running and leading a CNC cell, then this would be beneficial

Skills Required:


  • Apprentice trained or experienced within a subcontract machine shop environment
  • Knowledge of Heidenhain & Fanuc CNC controls would be ideal
  • Online and of line programming experience
  • Hypermill softwrae experience would be great
  • 3, 4 & 5 Axis machine experience is preferred
  • Turning experience would be an advantage but is not essential
