Description

To undertake all aspects of administration and clerical duties in relation to the Community Resources Unit, LCC Youth and Play and BBC Children in Need project managed by Norris Green Community Alliance.

(Collecting of data and inputting into spread sheets on Excel and other computer programmes)

To be responsible for developing publicity materials with the Office Manager to publicise different events and activities across the community using Facebook, Twitter and other avenues
To provide support to the Community Development Officer and Trustees of N.G.C.A. providing reports and minute taking at Board Meetings.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support and assist the Officer Manager fulfilling all administration aspects
and gathering of monitoring information of Community Resource Grant and
BBC Children in Need Projects

  • To have a comprehensive knowledge of I/T systems including accessing
  • To be able to input data/ information through computer programmes, i.e.
word, excel office etc.

  • To be responsible for retrieving information and documents and circulating
where necessary.

  • To ensure that diaries are managed effectively, maintain the filing system to
ensure that any documentation is kept correctly and transactions are
recorded.

  • To prepare (typing) reports and letters for the Office |Manager for the
Community Development Officer and Management Committee.

  • To deal with telephone enquiries and face to face enquires effectively and take
bookings for events when necessary.

  • To be able to communicate/liaise effectively with the public.
  • To support and work with volunteers when necessary.
  • To ensure monitoring and evaluation paper work is completed and up to date
by all funders to agreed standards and to ensure that all reports and returns
are completed as required.

  • To be responsible for maintaining IT systems for the organisation, keeping
web page up to date. In cooperation with Office Manager.

  • To design forms/flyers/posters/leaflets to promote the project and other events/
projects that the Alliance is involved in. (In cooperation with the Office
Manager)

  • To order resources/materials for the organisation as and when necessary.(via
the Office Manager)

  • To undertake all duties as commensurate with the job title. (one would be to
check the weekly Fareshare delivery).

  • Some evening work and weekends throughout the year to support the project
would be necessary.

  • To adhere to Health & Safety and GDPR (Data Protection) Policies.
  • Maintain a tidy desk and office
