We're seeking a future team member for the role of
Senior Associate, Control to join our Global Asset Safety Data Servicesteam.

This role is located in Manchester, United Kingdom - hybrid working.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Interpret regulations affecting control standards with large degree of independence and suggests methods of updating policies and practices to address any risk concerns.
  • Provide insight to business on control effectiveness / risk management including corporate policy adherence.
  • Be responsible for implementing automation initiatives to and to ensure control embeddedness across the team and appropriate change management standards are adhered to.
  • Ensure that existing control and business recovery practices and procedures are documented.
  • Work with the group and wider business independently to understand the controls currently in place to minimize or mitigate risk and to work with business lines to support and implement change.
  • Provide regular updates to Management and wider team on project deliverables, achievements, emerging risks, areas for improvement.
  • Support and develop the collective group in adhering to best practice and do the right thing whilst driving the banks digital growth agenda.
  • Test control functions and communicates the successful and efficient performance of controls and business recovery procedures.
  • Have no direct reports.
  • Contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Support moderately complex projects and provides insight on interpretation of regulations or control standards.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent or a combination of education and work experience required (3-5 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
