PrincipalSpecialist Speech and Language Therapist - MH Rehab and specialist assessment MDT (SAM) team

Are you a dynamic SLT with an interest and passion to work in mental health?

Join our wonderful and ever expanding SLT service for people with MH needs in a Trust that embraces SLT as a profession.
This new post combines a small specialist caseload in an MDT with a lead role, and funding to develop a SLT service to SPFT rehab services across Sussex


You will be providing specialist assessment and interventions to complex individuals referred as well as supporting the MDT and inpatient colleagues.

You will take on a supervisory role for other SLTs in the mental health rehabservice.

You would be joining a specialist Trust with a well-established and ever growing SLT service working in MH, Dementia, forensic, LD and neurodevelopmental services.

We pride ourselves in values led clinical work and compassionate leadership and have excellent links with the RCSLT. We offer a great supervision and CPD package of clinical/operational supervision from the SLT service and SAM team.

The units are based in Chichester, Brighton, Worthing, Horsham and Hailsham. You will be working virtually, and therefore work remotely. You will be expected to travel to sitesand may occasionally have to assess people who are out of area.
