We are seeking a trainee in Operations and Logistics.

The role will teach you all you need to know about processing road, air and sea shipments for our customers.

You will deal with bookings with shipping lines, agents and hauliers. Delivering outstanding customer service is key. The role involves tracking and communicating all updates to customers and ensuring deliveries are on time.

You will learn all aspects of customs clearance processes on all import and export jobs and the allocation of supplier invoices and sales invoicing.

Required Skills:

Excellent customer service skills
Attention to detail as accuracy is key
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Keen attitude to learn

This is a traineeship opportunity involving getting experience in a real working environment through a work placement to assess suitability for apprenticeship.

The apprenticeship wage is only paid on successful progression from work placement to apprenticeship as you are then employed by the client.

The role will lead to an level 3 in International Freight forwarding.

Contract length: 9 weeks

£4.81 per hour
