Description

This post will be based in the School of Dentistry, which is physically housed in the Liverpool University Dental Hospital.

There is a major research focus but the appointee would be expected to make a significant contribution to the didactic and clinical teaching of undergraduate dental and dental therapy students.

Some contribution to postgraduate teaching and the development and delivery of continuing professional development courses is envisaged.

Line-management of the post lies with the Dean of the School of Dentistry, Professor Vince Bissell, but day to day activities will be under the direction of the Academic Lead for Oral Diseases, Professor Luke Dawson.

The appointee would also work closely with the Vice-Dean for Research and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Sondos Albadri, and collaborators across the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences.

The appointee will be awarded an Honorary Consultant Contract with Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust and must, therefore, be appropriately qualified for such an appointment.

You will, alongside Consultant and trainee colleagues, delver a comprehensive Oral Medicine clinical service to referred patients at the Dental Hospital.
