Description

We are looking to recruit an Regulatory / Environmental Specialist to join our team in Lough-borough on a 6 month contract with the possibility for extension.

Pay rate of £153.80 per day

Working Hours - Monday to Friday hours per week

Remote Working - Will be required to attend site 1 day a month

Duties

Work with the commercial team supporting Bids and Tenders.
Own and improve sustainability and Social Value questionnaire process, this includes utilising currently available material and liaising with the company experts to provide additional information.
Translate sustainability language to be able to answer customer requests in an easytounderstand way.
Complete Carbon reduction Plan templates provided by customers.
Monitor external environment and advise on growing sustainability needs i.e. certifications, management processes, in key areas of ESG
Open minded, selfstarter, good communicator, and networker

Technical Skills

Advanced Excel skills and comfortable with PowerPoint.
Open to learn new systems (Global SharePoint, Power BI, Ecovadis database etc.) to manage the front end of the process.
Has a good understanding of governmental documents and can translate the information for people to understand at a basic level.

Initial Skills:

Fluent in English + 2nd language is preferable
Advanced Excel skills (Power Point appreciated)
Open to learn new systems (Global SharePoint, Power BI, Ecovadis database etc.) to manage the front end of the process
If possible, degree in chemical engineering or degree in sustainability
Able to determine if an FAQ response answers the question or if further information is required
Open minded, selfstarter, good communicator, and networker
