CNC Programmer

Our client is based in South Somerset and seeking a CNC team leader who can manage best practice, has a proven track record of working in the high-end cabinet making industry and is looking to make their next move within one of the most exciting Cabinet Making businesses

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery using AlphaCAM to produce precision components according to specifications.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure accurate interpretation of CAD/CAM designs.
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs to maximise efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Train and mentor junior CNC operators to enhance team capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the furniture or woodworking industry.
  • Proficiency in AlphaCAM) software.
  • Strong technical knowledge of CNC machining processes and equipment.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
