Data Engineer

Newport - Hybrid

Salary Circa £45,000 - £50,000 + some great benefits

Quinton Davies are working with a rapidly growing Software Development company to secure a Data Engineer to join their team based in Newport.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is curious about data, to shape the next generation and be a part of the most relevant disciplines of the digital age.

The role involves building data pipelines to populate the company's new Data Lake, which will become the core of its data and information services

Experience in data engineering or similar role
Experience producing data pipelines
Azure, PySpark and SQL experience
Has experience in at least one data language (Python, Java, Scala, Golang)
Understanding of Data Modelling
AWS would be advantageous
