2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Controller to join our client based in Derbyshire.

As the Fleet Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth management and processing of information relating to the vehicle fleet in the areas of breakdowns, defects, supplier management, cost & recharge control.


Key duties and responsibilities:


  • Answering incoming calls professionally.
  • Ensure that any rechargeable work is notified to the customers following the company procedures and time guidelines.
  • Updating all vehicle breakdowns & defects following company procedures and guidelines, ensuring minimising disruption to customers.
  • Manage suppliers and raising of order numbers to ensure our costs are controlled.
  • Ensure that all internal planning systems are fully updated with accurate and clear information for the correct customer visibility.
  • Understand Internal systems and consider how they can work in conjunction with the business to enhance processes.
  • Be flexible in approach to work and undertake other additional tasks as required.
  • Manage forward service planning and daily VOR management in line with KPI requirements.
  • Effectively plan and organise time to maximise productivity and efficiency for the individual, the workshops and the customers.
  • Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.

Skills and Experience:


  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organised and attentive to detail
  • Practical problemsolving ability.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a team framework
  • Computer literate.
  • Transport and Legislation Knowledge essential.
  • Technical knowledge & experience essential including workshop environment experience.
  • National CPC in road transport operations desirable.
  • Demonstratable technical knowledge with qualifications preferable.

£28,000
.00-£30,000.00 per year
