Role:
Children's Autism Support Worker


Location:
Holywell, CH8


Salary:
£10.55 ph, weekly pay


About the role:


Here at Lavoro Care we are currently supplying experienced support workers to work with young people with autism, our staff work with each individual to help them overcome the difficulties autism presents them with, enabling them to lead a fulfilling life.

Our support begins with the client, along with a shared understanding of what is important to them and what their strengths and needs are.

Our support approaches are individualised so that staff can meet each person's communication needs, people with autism learn and change over time, so our support approaches are focused on developing lifelong learning.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Provide the highest quality care in a safe and positive environment
  • Listening and using nonverbal communication
  • To support and assist in developing new skills and encourage children's social interaction
  • Assisting with mealtimes
  • Personal care as/when required
  • Assisting with domestic duties

Skills Required:


  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a care/support setting
  • Minimum age of 21 years old, to meet Ofsted guidelines
  • Full driving license and have access to a vehicle
