We are looking for a Multi Skilled Joiner to join our In House planned works Void Works Team, carrying out maintenance, repair and major refurbishment works within the Council's dwellings and empty properties whilst practicing safe working practices.

The role

As our Multi Skilled Joiner, you will carry out essential maintenance and refurbishment work, within the timescales, on our dwellings/properties as per the works order specification.

You will work with a highly motivated and friendly team of like minded trades persons who are all committed in working together to refurbish our own housing stock of empty homes to a good standard.

You will be provided with a business van including all equipment to enable you to complete your tasks with the requirement to comply with vehicle use and maintenance.

We offer flexibility within our normal working pattern of Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

What you will bring

You will need an NVQ2 in Joiner/Carpentry and efficient in Plumbing Ideally, we are looking for a qualified Joiner/Carpenter with knowledge and basic experience in other trades.
