Overview

The
Executive , Corporate Actions Advisory, will be based on a hybrid basis from our Gresham Street office in London.

You will support the Senior Executive, providing expert advice to clients, corporate advisors and lawyers in connection with a wide portfolio of corporate action events.

You will help to develop and maintain relationships with clients and their advisors, communicating the desires of the clients to the operational teams and ensuring understanding of clients' challenges and goals.

In addition, you will support the expansion and implementation of new initiatives and services to meet the future needs of the UK securities environment.


What you'll be doing:


  • Providing help and guidance to clients and advisers on corporate action products
  • Maintaining technical and business expertise to identify and respond to changing market trends in order to sustain enhanced levels of service
  • Escalating client concerns and ensuring they are resolved swiftly
  • Ensuring adherence to Link's information security and other core policies and standards
  • Reviewing draft corporate action documents and drafting and overseeing preparation and mailing of shareholder invitation or result documents
  • Preparing and executing corporate action agreements in a timely manner
  • Supporting visits to clients and advisors to provide onetoone service
  • Communicating event parameters to key business areas and overseeing and authorising the issue of client invoices
  • Supporting the corporate actions risk review process and client feedback surveys
  • Ensuring management information records are maintained
  • Ensuring compliance with any regulatory or statutory requirements, industry codes and practices
  • Responding to changing market requirements to operate at a new level in a different way to provide new services

What we're looking for:


  • Demonstrable experience in Corporate Actions, Share Plans or the Financial Services sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to actively listen
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders and clients
  • Selfmotivation An absolute must, along with great time management and the ability to keep several plates spinning at one time
  • A strong customer service ethic, with a passion for supporting colleagues and clients
  • A proactive, highly selfmotivated individual with the drive and desire to succeed in their role
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work well as part of a team or on your own initiative
  • The ability to explain complex information in simple terms, amending your deliver depending on the individual you are liaising with
  • Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to solve problems and handle complaints
