My well established, successful Thame based client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator.The role consists of:
- Liaising with hauliers and customers to ensure deliveries are made on time and in full.
- This involves booking deliveries, checking and communicating estimated arrival times.
- Checking and managing stock.
- Negotiating with hauliers.
- Continuous internal communication with team members to ensure operations run smoothly.
- Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills.
- A proactive attitude.
- Have strong numeracy skills with attention to detail.
- Remain calm under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with transport and logistics desirable, however an eagerness to learn with the above skills is more important.
- Educated to minimum of A level or a graduate is required.
Salary 25-28K DOE with excellent benefits to include private health care and annual discretionary bonus scheme.
