We are looking for Nursing Assistants for our new 84 bedded home specialising in Care for the elderly, dementia and nursing.
- Show rounds to perspective residents and their families.
- Carrying out preadmission assessments before a resident moving in.
- Implementation, reviewing and changing of each person's plan of care. Interviewing and selection of staff.
- Carrying out a variety of audits and developing action plans from those audits whilst then implementing and rectifying any points raised.
- Working alongside Nurses and supporting with clinical procedures, checking patients' vital signs, dressings etc
- Supporting Registered Nurses with their duties
- Ordering, administering and returning of medication as per our system and procedures
- Leading and producing minutes of staff meetings
- Reviewing staff's performance and be confident in taking the next step if they are not meeting home's standards and expectations
- Attending Management meetings and taking forward any new ways of working, changing on systems or taking management instructions forward and implementing and supporting them on the unit you manage
- Leading Resident and family reviews. Joining in with our endless parties and fun organised within the home and out in the community
- Periodically being the 'Duty Manager ' where you will be in charge of the whole home in the absence of the Care home and Assistant Managers.

Staff are required to wear PPE including masks.
Staff are required to undergo regular LFT and PCR testing (this may be reviewed according to government guidelines at the time).
