Description

Due to the development of current staff and promotions within the organisation an exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the York and Selby Early Intervention Team as a Senior Community Practitioner.

We are looking for a highly motivated mental health nurse, occupational therapist or social worker with some experience incommunity mental health careand a passion for developing and maintaining excellent mental health services.

The post holder will have a sound working knowledge of mental health problems and experience of assessing and working with patients in a community setting and managing risk.

Applicants will need to have a genuine interest in the development of the service, excellent communication skills, and a detailed knowledge of CPA and working with individuals with psychosis and families.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.

If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
