£12.00 per hour, £82.10 Sleep in rate (Sunday to Thursday), £90.20 sleep in rate (Friday & Saturday)

Hours:
A range of hours are available - see below for more information. Sleep ins and hours can be negotiated at interview.

All shifts start from late afternoon, include sleep over, and then finish in the morning. This varies on Saturday and Sunday when you would finish late afternoon.

A typical Sunday to Thursday shift would be:3.45pm pm & sleep in & 7.30am - 9.45am

A typical Friday and Saturday shift would be:4.45pm pm & sleep in & 8:30am-5pm

About me


I am a lady living in Stratford-Upon-Avon, who is looking for female PA's to join my friendly team of personal assistants to enable me to live as independently as possible in my own home.


I am very proud of my achievements and need support to empower me to do even more and to achieve my personal ambitions.

I have a cat and small pets who play a big part in my life - so you must be able to get on with them.


The main duties are:

  • To support me on a one to one basis and to cooperate with me, my representatives and other team members in meeting my needs.
To communicate effectively with me, my representatives and other team members.

To support me to maintain and develop daily living skills.

To support me with all aspects of personal care as necessary (e.g. washing, bathing and getting dressed).

To transport me to and from my home and various locations on a daily basis as necessary. You are required to drive my own car.

To support me with my medication and medical appointments as required.

To undertake normal domestic duties, as necessary, in my home, such as washing, ironing, cooking and cleaning.

To actively support me at the gym, swimming sessions in the pool, going on walks and Wii fit.

To support me to use IT equipment such as I-pad, laptop and mobile phone.


To support me in maintaining my flower and vegetable garden and to undertake garden duties as necessary, planting, weeding and watering.


To support me to look after my pet cat and pet Guinea pigs including feeding, grooming and cleaning out hutch and litter tray when necessary.

To encourage and enable me to make and maintain relationships with friends, family and neighbours.

To accompany me and provide full support on short breaks and holidays.

To complete and maintain written records, Support Plans, Risk Assessments and any other documents as necessary.

To undertake any other reasonable tasks or duties as specified by myself, or my representatives.


PERSON SPECIFICATION
This person specification sets out the skills, abilities and attributes required for the post of my Personal Assistants.

The following are ESSENTIAL requirements for this post:

The ability to work on a one to one basis with me and as part of my small team of PAs in providing support for myself.


The ability to work flexibly within the team to ensure continuity of service during periods of annual leave and sickness.

The ability to empower me in reaching my full potential in all aspects of independent daily living.


The ability to take responsibility for my well-being and for the safety and security of my home, my possessions and my pets.

The ability to support me to maintain my home e.g. washing, ironing, cleaning, cooking, gardening and other household duties.

To understand and demonstrate a healthy lifestyle and to take a positive and active role in activities such as walking, swimming and attending the gym

To be a non-smoker

To communicate effectively with other professionals, my family / representatives, and other related organisations.


To possess basic IT skills in order to support me in educational and recreational IT activities such as laptop and iPad.

To possess a full clean driving licence and able to drive me between my home and other locations.

To demonstrate respect and dignity at all times
