Building Service Manager I East Anglia I Data Centre I GM19912
I am looking for an experienced Building Service Manager to join my clients Data Centre business.

You will oversee the delivery of a £50M M&E package on a new build Data Centre in the East Anglia region.

This would suit an experienced Building Service Managerwho has a background of working on either Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Mission Critical projects.

This is a great time to join a privately owned rapidly expanding General Contractor delivering Hyperscale Data Centre Projects.

They are nearing completion of their 6th project, this will be the 7th and their pipeline of work is excellent giving plenty ofopportunity to grow with the business.

The Data Centre business equates to 20% of the total company turnover and this is due to increase YOY.


The project is currently at the phase 4 design stage and they are due to start on the project fully in January 2023 so now is a great time to join.

Salary - DOE

Building Service Manager Role:


  • As a key member of the team you will be reporting to the Project Director. You will assist with the successful delivery of building services from the preconstruction phase through to construction, commissioning and handover.

Building Service Manager Requirements:


  • A successful track record of working on & delivering multimillion pound construction projects.
  • Ability to manage multidiscipline MEP subcontractors including assisting the QS department in the procurement and selection of the relevant MEP subcontractors.
  • You will be able to successfully liaise with the client's team and their objectives across the full range of building services disciplines
  • Degree qualified or HND in Building Services or related field
  • Member of an industry related professional body (e.g. CIBSE, ASHRAE, IEE)
  • Proven track record of working in preconstruction and on bids.
  • Data Centre, Pharmaceutical or Mission Critical experience essential
