About the Role

Base Location:
Wick and Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading, Havant, Belfast or Dublin.

Salary:
£38,073 to £44,257 dependant on experience + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

As Technical Planner you will be responsible for facilitating the coordination and control of all asset intervention needs, primarily for Beatrice Offshore Windfarm, however, you may be required to provide support across other offshore windfarm sites within the SSE portfolio.

You will play a key role in the administration of the maintenance management system, ensuring safety and quality standards are adhered to.


  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create accurate comprehensive short and longterm plans.
  • Chair daily and weekly planning meetings, track and report on works progress ensuring work is efficiently scheduled and prioritised.
  • Contribute to the collation of site production plans ensuring budgeted spends are tracked and utilised in line with approved budget.
  • Administration and quality management of the maintenance management system IBM Maximo, liaising with stakeholders to ensure that data is correct, inclusive of the applicable work control documents, safety documents and work instructions.
  • Control and update site access registers, communicate access restrictions and prioritise site inspection and maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to continued improvement in SSE Renewables' information management processes, enabling enhanced trend analysis from service records and corrective maintenance activities.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have/be:

  • Prior experience in the coordination of asset maintenance activities, liaising with multiple stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Competency in the use of maintenance management systems, ideally IBM Maximo.
  • Knowledge and experience of working within a controlled safety environment together with working knowledge of safe systems of work in line with maintenance management systems.
  • Highly organised, pay close attention to detail and confident to challenge / be challenged.
