Job Purpose

We are looking to bring in an Automation/Low Code Specialist under Global Finance Technology to help the development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of Next Generation Digital Automation Platform.

This is a significant opportunity for an experiencedtechnologist with experience in low code automation platforms to move into a role working with a variety of development teams, including close collaboration with Finance and Risk Shared Services.

(FRSS) Exposure to Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investmentbanking is preferred.

As part of this role you will:

  • Be part of Strategic team to develop, enhance, support and maintain Next-gen Digital Automation Solutions for Finance Technology
  • Participate in technical discussions/brainstorming sessions and define ideas and strategies for existing and future platforms
  • Gain exposure to Wholesale, Retail business across data, risk and finance
  • Work across diverse set of Finance platforms and have an opportunity to be part of rearchitecture and replatforming initiatives on low code automation platforms.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of Appian developers and be able to come up with the right solution.
  • Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Guide Appian architects, leads and developers on architecture and development front, should be able to resolve queries from the team
  • Be able to perform architecture reviews of sprint stories
  • Work with Product Owner to gather requirements
  • Be able to grow the Appian practice and train freshers
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes

Skills and experience:


  • Significant IT experience.
  • Development experience in one or more Low Code Platform i.e Appian, XCeptor, Power Apps or RPA/Automation, BluePrism etc.
  • Experience in working on one of the programming languages
  • Java, Python, C#, etc.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting to identify best practices
  • Proven experience of development in successful deliveries.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Proven track record of operational process change and improvement
  • Should have strong handson experience on one of these technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Database, JDBC, JMS, Rest Big Data /Distributed System, etc
  • Experience using ALM and CICD tools like Bitbucket, TFS, Jenkins, uDeploy, BMC RLM or related tools in an agile methodology.
  • Experience within a banking/finance environment would be preferable.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
  • Experience in providing solutions for a wide range of technologies
  • Java, Low Code, Web Technologies, etc.
  • Experience in working in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.
