Austin Rose Care Home, located in Birmingham, we know it's our privilege to care for people - supporting them to live with dignity and independence.

Right now, we're looking for a caring and organised individuals to join us as a Activities Co-ordinator working 24 hours per week (Part-Time) to help us be the positive difference to our resident's lives.


The key responsibilities of our Activities Co-ordinator include:

  • To provide stimulation and social engagement to residents through a wide and varied activities programme.
  • Responsible for the planning, coordinating and delivery of activities within the care home, ensuring all residents are offered a varied and meaningful choice of activities, throughout their stay
  • Develop community links with local groups i.e. churches, charities, schools and local authority
  • Building relationships with local entertainers to attend the home
  • Planning and organising special events and a comprehensive activities program, which considers all resident needs.
  • Establish links with, and encourage involvement of the local community in the home, e.g. schools, colleges, religious and voluntary groups.
  • Maintain full and accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documentation
