Babynov UK is a well-established food manufacturing company based in Chichester.

We are looking for a Production Planner with a positive can-do approach, a willingness to learn and motivation to help us get the best out of everyday.

The production planner has overall responsibility for managing all aspects of production capacity planning by directing the production scheduling and control activities required.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person, who can work as part of a team, accurately and at speed in a busy environment.

The job role and responsibilities:

As a Production Planner, you will have a varied but interesting role primarily helping to improve the processes around planning.

Facilitate the timely planning of deliveries within the supply chain, optimize inventory planning to meet service, cost, and timeliness objectives.

Principal Responsibilities

Plan production of all finished goods against forecast demand.
Close liaison with the purchasing dept to ensure timely receipt of all raw and packaging materials, to meet production/customer requirements.
Close liaison with Customer representatives to understand customer requirements.
Ensure new product information and existing data is inputted & maintained within SAP as well as support systems as and when required.
Create and improve forecasts, to better meet customer demands.
Capacity and forecast management, monitor and develop strategies.
Create and monitor sales orders and customer demand.
Report on required aspects of the business to relevant stakeholders.
