Working as a member of the Indirect Manufacturing team, the role will be mainly based at our client's site, Our client's products consist of electro-mechanical instruments that can be deployed on land, downhole or in the ocean and can operate standalone or part of a larger system.

The role is office based from their headquarters situated on the borders of Hampshire and Berkshire.


OBJECTIVES


The Manufacturing Planner is jointly responsible for the smooth running of EPICORTME10 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool in order to fulfil Sales Orders in a timely and efficient manner, a key role right at the centre of the manufacturing operations.


DUTIES

  • Monitor and maintain the regular overnight MRP process and carry out interventions as required to achieve planned output
  • Review, monitor and manage the daytoday MPS schedules and planning cycles
  • Create, adjust and reschedule Jobs, Travelers, and manufacturing priorities
  • Coordinate the resources, inventory and supply chain availability in cooperation with the Production Manager and Materials team.
  • Advise on planning strategy and MRP techniques to optimise and maintain forecast and maketoorder planning
  • Providing immediate feedback to management if any date may be missed
  • Maintain high standards to support and contribute to the manufacturing process in such a manner that safe, efficient and effective.
  • Learn and interact with the company enterprise resources planning tools (Epicor) to be able to resolve issues and exceptions that occur from time to time.

Experience And Qualifications

Essential:


  • Proven experience as a manufacturing/production planner
  • Experience in MPS/MRPII Manufacturing Resource Planning
  • Experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentDesirable:
  • Experience of working within an SME ideally from within the electronics sector
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally Epicor E10
  • Experience in QA / Quality procedures desirable

Salary:
£27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
