About Us


Construction Helpline is a South London based national training provider offering the required training provision to qualify customers for the most appropriate CSCS card.

From Level 1 H&S training for labourers, through to NVQ Levels 2 to 6 training for skilled workers, supervisors and site managers across core trades within the construction industry.


The Role

At present we are recruiting for a flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who wants to help to deliver and develop our strategy for employability and placement provision for students, to work on our exciting project in London & the south east based at our training site in Mitcham.


As our Employability Officer, you will be responsible.

  • To secure paid employment/job vacancies for construction Skill Bootcamp students within agreed time period through the process of profiling, job matching, training and monitoring
  • Work closely and support the team members to ensure a cohesive team approach in accelerating student's progress.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver complex information to different audience effectively.
  • To set and meet targets and deadlines regularly with high quality work.
  • To comply with correspondence required by external Funding Agency
  • Proactively seek out new employers who wish to recruit a diverse work force and discuss new employment opportunities where no vacancy may exist.
  • Arrange face to face or telephonic meetings with employers to discuss new opportunities for students.
  • To be aware of and to attend local events such as job fairs, recruitment events and networking events for employer.
  • Conduct 23 days employability sessions with bootcamp learners.
  • Be able to visit our training centres in London, West Midlands and Liverpool
  • To ensure compliance with core policies such as Health &Safety and Safeguarding.

You must have experience in
Recruitment/ Student Employability

Employer engagement

Experience and good knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)


Note:
This position will be Hybrid, mostly remote but some days in office as required

  • Monday to Friday
  • Some Saturdays

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£28,000.00 per year
