    Description

    Software Quality Assurance Engineer

    We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through effective testing, identification of defects, and implementation of corrective actions.

    About the Role:

    • Ownership of test plans and strategies
    • Collaboration with Engineering and Product teams to identify and prioritize QA initiatives
    • Proactive testing in various environments
    • Production of robust documentation and communication of QA findings

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and execute test plans to ensure software applications meet requirements and standards
    2. Identify defects and provide recommendations for corrective actions
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
    4. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of testing efforts and results

    Requirements:

    • Experience in manual and automated software testing
    • Strong understanding of the full SDLC and Agile QA processes
    • Robust knowledge of QA best practices
    • Experience with automation frameworks like Cucumber and/or Selenium
    • Proficiency with Cypress, Jest, Junit, and kotlin.test
    • Familiarity with Github and/or Jenkins for automation pipelines
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience testing software for insurance, wealth management, and/or banking platforms
    • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration development
    • Proficiency with Jmeter
