About the Role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Governance and Compliance Officer to join the faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine to manage the governance, financial and administrative requirements of the NWIA Training Hub and Radiology Academy, including responsibility for the design, management, delivery and maintenance of high-quality policies, procedures and reporting structures, as well as supporting projects, external partnerships, and contract work within the Medical School.


The role's primary focus will be the implementation and monitoring of the NWIA projects but will also support the day-to-day operations of the Medical School in relevant areas, particularly in projects, enterprise, partnerships and governance work.


This will be a varied, interesting and challenging role that offers an opportunity to be part of the exciting development of the new NW Imaging Academy, working in partnership with Health Education England.


About You

As
Governance and Compliance Officer, you will:


  • have experience of working in an administrative, organisational role relating to healthcare/clinical education delivery or quality improvement, either in Higher Education or within a health, medical or social care organisation
- have experience of working within regulatory frameworks, quality assurance, contracts, compliance, or finance
- have experience of introducing effective change:

  • be able to effectively manage the development, implementation and evaluation of new systems and procedures to enable smarter and more effective ways of working
- have great interpersonal skills, and be a collaborator who is able to bring together different stakeholders to reach a shared goal.
- demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail and strive for continuous improvement.
- be a self-starter who is able to work on own initiative and use creativity to resolve problems.
