Client is currently recruiting for 2 Deployment techncians to be office based.


The Device Replacement project will deploy 6,400 new laptops to staff members across all of Hampshire County Council and retrieve their existing equipment for disposal.

The rollout process will be a self-service offering to staff with limited IT intervention.


The Deployment Technician will be a mixed role working on a variety of tasks in a 2nd level Desktop team - This will be either in BAU or assisting with the device refresh project depending on skills.

£205 a day inside IR35:


  • Office based in Winchester and daily deployment site locations in Basingstoke, Totton and Fareham

Essential skills and experience:


  • Recent experience of 2nd line Desktop IT Support (Windows 10, Smartphone support)
  • Good customer & colleague Comm's skills required, in person & over the phone
  • Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 technical build skills
  • Microsoft inTune and Windows Autopilot skills
  • Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and TEAMS
  • Strong self organisation and selfmotivation behaviours
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Strong customer facing skills with experience of managing difficult customers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Lifting and carrying physically fit
  • Clean Driving License
