Transaction Monitoring Analytics Team Manager

S3 role

Salary up to £70k with £6k car allowance & other benefits.

Milton Keynes/Hybrid

Responsibilities:


  • Manage a small team of analytics professionals in charge of transaction monitoring and fraud detection.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for detecting financial crime, including fraud, money laundering, and terrorism financing.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify patterns and trends that may indicate potential fraudulent activities.
  • Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations on transaction monitoring practices.
  • Manage and prioritize the team's workload to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in transaction monitoring and fraud detection.
  • Experience managing a team of analysts.
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Crime Data Science and Analytics.
  • Proficient in Python and/or R and SQL in a Big Data environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
