Description

Our client is an exciting service business with a buy and build strategy and is PE Funded.

This is a newly created role.

The role of Group Accountant will work closely with the CFO.

There is no fixed location for the role as staff work primarily from home but there will be a requirement to travel on average one day per week around the UK - mainly to Manchester and Birmingham.

For guidance purposes examples of types of work likely to be undertaken are as follows:
Core Tasks in support of the FD and CFO:

Prepare interim and full year financial accounts (UK GAAP) for the Company and Group and acting as a key contact with the auditors in the audit process.
Develop and run monthly financial control processes and look to streamline the month end reporting schedule.
Preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans and continued monitoring & review of performance against them to enable robust, regular reporting.
