Head of Copy and Content - Website Development Specialist, Branding and Campaign Expertise, Team Leadership

Job Summary:

Head of Copy and Content - expertise in website development and branding.

As the HoC, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, optimization, and management of content for our clients' websites, ensuring that it aligns with their brand identity, business objectives, and target audience.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, motion specialists, developers, marketers, and brand strategists, to deliver cohesive and impactful website, brand and campaign experiences.


Job requirements:


Responsibilities:


1.

Website Content Strategy and Branding:


  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for client websites, integrating brand identity, messaging, and positioning.
  • Ensure that content reflects the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with brand strategists to align content strategies with the brand's vision and objectives.

Content Creation and Management:


  • Produce highquality, engaging, and SEOfriendly content for website pages, blog posts, landing pages, and other digital assets.
  • Ensure that content aligns with the brand guidelines and effectively communicates the brand story.
  • Collaborate with writers to ensure timely delivery of content projects.

Website Development Collaboration:


  • Work closely with the website development team to ensure seamless integration of content within the website architecture, user interface, and user experience.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout the website design and development process.
  • Provide input and guidance on contentrelated aspects of website development.

SEO Optimisation and Brand Alignment:


  • Conduct keyword research and implement onpage optimization techniques to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and drive lead generation.
  • Ensure that SEO efforts align with the brand's messaging and positioning.
  • Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize content for search engines while maintaining brand relevance.

Content Performance Analysis:


  • Monitor and analyse content performance metrics, including website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Use datadriven insights to identify opportunities for content optimization and improvement, while keeping brand alignment in mind.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to track and measure content performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Brand Collaboration:


  • Collaborate closely with clients and brand strategists to understand the brand's values, personality, target audience, and content requirements.
  • Present content strategies, gain feedback, and align content deliverables with the brand's vision and objectives.
  • Act as a brand advocate and ensure that all content reflects the brand's identity and messaging.
  • Work with clients and creative to either evolve their brand or create a new direction.

Content Team Leadership:


  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the content team.
  • Set clear expectations, establish workflows, and ensure timely delivery of content projects while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the content team.
  • Foster a strong relationship between design, strategy and content.

Content Quality Assurance:


  • Conduct thorough content reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread content for grammar, style, and formatting, while ensuring brand integrity.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain highquality standards for all content deliverables.

Industry Trends and Best Practices:


  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in website development, content marketing, and branding.
  • Share industry insights and best practices with the team to foster continuous improvement.
