We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant to join our school _
"where children learn and grow in a happy, secure and nurturing environment" (Ofsted 2023)_.

The role will include supporting children 1:1 as well as within a small group and class in KS2. We are looking for someone with a holistic, nurturing approach focusing on children's education and their well-being.

We are looking for someone who:

enjoys working with children as part of a staff team

- will be committed to enabling children to feel good about their learning
- forms good working relationships with children, staff and parents
- is positive, calm and can use their initiative
- shows awareness of safeguarding and confidentiality
- is actively committed to the aims and ethos of our Catholic Christian school
- will be part of our lunchtime supervision team.

Ideally you will:
- have a minimum of grade 4 GCSE in English and Maths or an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
- have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- have a good understanding of how to support children with social and emotional needs
- willingness to support children by meetingphysical needs as required whilst encouraging independence
- be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills
