The Sustainability team is part of the Strategy and Sustainability function and engages collaboratively with all functions across the business.

Reporting to the Director of Sustainability, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality group-wide external reporting of sustainability-related information and for strengthening the approach to group disclosures in line with evolving reporting requirements.


The role will require an understanding of the current and evolving sustainability reporting requirements for Subsea7 and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support the business in maturing the approach to sustainability-related disclosures.


What will you be doing?

  • Support business alignment with key reporting requirements such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), International Sustainability Standard Board (ISSB) and Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI)
  • Support in the analysis and presentation of data for regulatory and investor reporting including NFDR, EU Taxonomy
  • Support the delivery of submissions to various voluntary ratings organisations and through platforms such as DJSI and CDP to improve transparency of performance to sustainability standards and to support improved performance
  • Assist in the development and publication of the annual sustainability report
  • Prepare the narrative and end of year sustainability performance data tables used in Subsea7 Sustainability Report and Subsea7 Annual Report
  • Support the data gathering process, providing oversight of data providers and recommend additional data sources with a view to bring sustainability (nonfinancial) reporting on a par with wider financial reporting processes

What experience would we like you to have?

  • You should have demonstrable relevant experience in a similar role, with particular focus on content management and implementing reporting process.
  • You will have great interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of stakeholders both internal and external.
  • You should have a high level of attention to detail, as well as systematic and structured approach to your work.
  • Ideally you will have experience of Microsoft Power BI reporting & dashboard development.
