An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Supported Housing Assistant to join Wirral Council's Supported Housing and Homelessness Section, on a 12 months fixed term contract.


You will have good interpersonal skills, knowledge of office procedures and systems, and the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a high level of accuracy, with both colleagues and members of the public, some of who may have some very complex support needs.

You will need to be highly organised, and able to assist in the development of office procedures.

You should be able to work to deadlines and proficient in using your initiative to identify and resolve problems.

A knowledge of Homelessness Legislation and an understanding of the issues faced by people who are homeless would be desirable, although not essential.
