Light Commercial Technician LEVEL 2/3 Mechanic
Our client is based in Bedford and looking for 3 experienced mechanics. to join their team.

Shifts:
Monday - Friday

Pay:
Up to £36,000 (depending on your experience).

HGV Mechanic wanted for immediate start, for small, specialised workshop, focused on dedicated customer support in accordance with traffic commissioners office guidelines.

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible on a day to day basis of performing and overseeing vehicle inspections, ensuring they are delivered in line with current IMI requirements, along with booking and planning follow up work relating to such vehicles, and planned maintenance across our client database.

Must have majority of own tools, although more specialised tools are provided, each Mechanic tends to work with the own basic tools, and doesn't borrow each other's.

Occasional site work/call out work required, however this will be undertaken in a company vehicle, fully kitted out with equipment and tools.

Infrequent call outs, occasional site visits for bulk inspections where convenient, however site work is still done on a daytime basis, and is paid at a premium in addition to workshop salary.

This role requires a more experienced and qualified professional, ideally with experience in commercial repair, and with some understanding of vehicle diagnostics (though not entirely necessary as training will be given).
