About the Role:
As an Underwriting Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of expert Underwriters.
Your strong mathematical background will be put to good use as you analyse data, assess risks, and provide critical insights to the decision-making process.
Your attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information will be key to ensuring accurate underwriting decisions.Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Underwriters to assess risks associated with energy business.
- Analyse and interpret complex data, including financial reports and industry trends.
- Perform accurate and thorough risk assessments using mathematical models.
- Assist in the preparation of underwriting documentation and reports.
- Maintain and update internal databases with relevant information.
- Provide exceptional support to Underwriters and other team members as needed.
Requirements:
- A strong academic background with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
