CRS are currently assisting a specialist market leading rental company in sourcing a full time Hire / Sales Controller to join the existing team in the Uddingston area.


Covering multiple industries and the commercial fit-out sectors, leading the hire industry in the UK, with multiple depots and divisions.


The Hire/Sales controller is required to join an expanding branch to provide full support in all areas of internal sales.

This will include customer service, dealing with regional depots and working with the regional customer service Manager.


Working closely with the internal sales team to achieve business objectives, the role is a pivotal position in ensuring the success of the branch.


As Hire/Sales Controller you will be expected to continue to develop and grow existing and new accounts whilst providing an excellent level of customer service.


Hire Controller responsibilities:


  • Manage own workloads and to prioritise daily activities
  • Confident telephone manner when dealing with customer enquiries
  • Learn the technical aspects of a range of tools
  • Work in a team environment towards specific goals
  • Produce reports
  • Manage customer database

Experience:


  • Experience of hire equipment industry and sales is highly desired but not essential.
  • Demonstrable customer service experience in a fastpaced environment
  • Good geographical knowledge of the surrounding Uddingston / Glasgow area would be welcome but again not essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good IT skills and systems knowledge.
  • Previous experience in producing branch reports and updating customer databases would be advantageous.

Job Types:

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
