Description
An experienced EHS Advisor is needed to join our team at Tritech based in Wrexham.

First established in 1982, the Tritech Group has built a reputation based on quality and expertise for offering total, integrated manufacturing solutions for Aerospace, Defenceand related industries.


The EHS Advisor will be responsible for providing pragmatic compliance advice and support to the Operational teams at the company's 4 sites in Wrexham.


This role will be fully supported by the Group EHS Manager with whom the EHS advisor will be working to deliver continual improvements in EHS performance.


About the Role


The role is site-based and so the ability to positively represent and communicate the EHS ethos of the business is paramount.

The role encompasses a wide range of EHS sectors and is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and experience.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide compliance advice to Operations on EHS issues
  • Support Operations in carrying out risk assessments and investigations
  • Carrying out regular site audits to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
  • Support Group EHS Manager in developing internal policy
  • Deliver inhouse training to managers and employees as required
  • Produce management reports
  • Keep up to date with changes in EHS legislation and any developments that could affect our current or future activities

Required Skills:


  • Selfmotivated, reliable and adaptable
  • Ability to positively engage with people at all levels
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Confident and enthusiastic with a positive, cando attitude
  • Adept in the use of MS Office suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)

Required Experience:


  • Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Providing advice and guidance in an operational EHS role
  • Carrying out risk assessments, training and incident investigations
  • Preparing and presenting reports, safety briefs and guidance

Desirable Experience:


  • Level 3 Certificate in Environmental Management
  • Level 3 Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
  • Previous experience of ISO 45001 and/or ISO14001 would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Level 3 Certificate in Learning and Education

  • Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%
