We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed professional to join our small but busy Food and Health and Safety Team at Ribble Valley Borough Council.

Much of the Ribble Valley is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The borough is made up of picturesque towns and villages and scenic countryside; it is also known as the food capital of the north.

You will be dealing with retail and commercial premises, covering business advice, food hygiene inspections, infectious disease control, investigation of food complaints and health and safety inspections/investigations.

Good IT skills, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle, as well as a flexible approach to working hours are also essential.
