Description

An East Midlands Local Authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children service.

Responsibilities of the role:

Supporting Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children as Looked After Children.
Carry out initial assessment of needs for children and ensuring that they are accommodated safely.
Produce and deliver quality care plans, in line with Every Child Matters.
Supporting other members of the team, ensuring Best Practice across proceedings.

Requirements of the role:

Must hold a degree in Social Work or equivalent.
Must be fully registered with Social Work England.
Must have a full UK driving license.
Must have experience working with a similar client group.
