Ruby Developer - Remote/London

Overview


My client is looking for a Ruby Developer that is passionate about building software that is set to disrupt the market driving change.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop on the Apple and Google wallet platforms
  • Build and ship new features from scratch
  • Take ownership for your tasks and see features through from start to finish
  • Build RESTful APIs.

Experience:


  • 2+ year of experience in software engineering
  • A good understanding of full stack software development including system architecture, web serving infrastructure, and database design.
  • Strong experience with Ruby
  • Knowledge of PHP
  • Knowledge of Symfony and Rails.
  • Some experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, like Postgres, MongoDB or DynamoDB.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and GitHub experience.
  • Ability to write high quality, well tested, production level code.
  • Strong customer empathy
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
