This role will now be a January start and will continue for the full academic year(until July 2023) and there may be the possibility of the role becoming permanent after that. Interviews/trial days to be held before the Christmas break.

You will be assisting with the preparation of lessons and activities in Year 7 to A' levels.

The role will involve managing Science resources and equipment, setting up practical activities and assisting in Science lessons from time to time.

You should havea good awareness of health and safety procedures, when handling chemicals and equipment etc.

The school runs a lunchtime Science club and you will be asked to assist in the preparation of activities for that.

You should have a positive, proactive approach and be a great communicator as you will be working with staff and pupils across the school.

The role is full time, Monday to Friday, term time only and the hours are 8.15am - 4.15pm.

The salary on offer from this school is £13-14 per hour.

The school also offers graduate teacher training so could be a great opportunity to train as a teacher whilst working.
