Job purpose:

VMS Solutions is a well-established contract manufacturer of health and sports supplements that is currently experiencing sustained growth. We are looking for administrative support within our finance and buying team.

This is a perfect opportunity for a driven individual on a part-time basis (hours to be agreed), with the desire to grow with the company.

Principal Accountabilities:

Provide support to the Finance Manager and Buying Manager/Company Secretary.

  • Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Credit control
  • Office Administration
  • Tracking purchase orders
  • Contacting suppliers
  • Support the Office team
  • Any other tasks set by management
  • Adherence to Health & Safety, Quality Procedures and GMP Requirement

Internal and External Relationships
This function involves close working relationship with the following departments:

  • NPD/Warehouse/Quality Control/Customer Service

Qualifications and Experience
5 G.C.S.E's A* - C Grade or experience in a similar position

Good computer literacy and able to use Excel

Special Aptitudes:


  • Multi Tasks
  • Good numerical skills and Computer literacy including Excel
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read, follow written procedures and instructions

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES


Primarily this role is to support the Finance Manager and Purchasing Manager/Company Secretary along with the office admin team with an excess in workload.

£9.50 per hour
