Are you a Management Accountant looking for a new, exciting opportunity to step into a Management position?


AJ Chambers are happy to be partnered with an exceptional independent practice in Stevenage who have a need for an experienced outsourcing/management accountant to join their highly progressive and growing team.


You will be joining them as an Outsourcing Manager, working alongside the Head of Department, developing the existing team, and delivering high quality services to their clients.


What does the role entail?


You will have the primary task of controlling the workflow on a portfolio of clients, dealing with technical queries as they arise and completing quality control reviews in a timely and accurate fashion.

This requires technical knowledge, attention to detailand an ability to organise the workloads of others.

As Manager, you will be a key individual in building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients.

You will also have a responsibility to review management reports, VAT returns and registrations, payment runs, and the client billing process.

Youwill also be identifying and delivering added value services to your clients.

What are they looking for?

  • You must have a least 3 years' post qualified experience of working in a practice or an outsourcing environment
  • You'll be ACA or ACCA qualified
  • You'll love developing relationships
  • You'll be techsavvy, a working knowledge of CCH is desirable but not essential
  • You'll have a proactive approach to tasks whether they are big or small
  • You'll be motivated by a fastpaced environment
