Treasury Accounts Assistant

Temp for 3 months ongoing

Remote - Stevenage

£19 per hour

Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a role that is remote working, but full time? This position is home based, but you will need to attend the office in Stevenage once a month, so you will need to live in a commutable distance.

This isa temporary position for a minimum of 3 months.

Duties:

1 Daily cash management - management of cash balances and investments, including the use of HSBCNet to monitor bank balances, the use of FIS money market portal to make or redeem investments, raising CHAPS payments for approval to place investments and forother large payments as required.

2 Monitoring the credit worthiness of investment counterparties and ensuring adherence to the Treasury Management Policy and advice from Link treasury advisors.

3 Calculation & Forecasting of cash flow balances, including investment maturities and giving advice on reinvestment options or if funds need to be returned.

4 Calculation & Forecasting of Interest - monthly calculation of interest earned on all investments instruments, monthly calculation of average interest rate and the average investment balance.

5 Supporting the Group Accountant (Capital & Treasury) with the calculation of prudential indicators and other data for reports, with monitoring the capital programme and keeping the ledger (Integra) up to date with approved budgets, with government returnsfor treasury and capital, and with producing the year-end accounts for treasury and capital.
