Home Tutor for an SEN School based in Lambeth


Classroom Teachers Ltd are proud to be working closely with a federation of schools in South East London to supply home tutors to students that, for a variety of reasons, are not currently attending school.


The Senior Leadership team are currently looking to recruit 3/4 tutors to work up to 15hours a week with students.

The positions are to start ASAP on an on-going basis.


Hours are generally set each day (tutor and parent decide this), and depending on the student the hours can be between 2-3hrs each day.


JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • SEN Home Tutor
  • Surrey based
- up to £35.31ph

  • Starting ASAP
  • Longterm contract
  • Teaching secondary children with SEN on 1:1 basis at home. Parent/Guardian are always present
  • Access to the schools schemes of work and support from the SEND Co at the school where possible
  • Providing a stimulating & enjoyable learning environment
  • Providing 1:1 sessions teaching English, Maths and Science if applicable.
  • Half termly report writing

PERSON SPECIFICATION:


  • Qualified Teacher
  • Previous SEN experience or advanced understanding of SEN
  • You must be passionate, enthusiastic and caring towards children
  • Able to engage students in their own homes
  • Able to communicate with parents/guardians
  • Able to inspiring young adults
