STUDENT SUPPORT WORKERS

Location:
Milton Keynes - Chaffron Way Campus (MK6 5LP) OR Bletchley Campus (MK3 6DR)

Hours:
Up to 37.5 hours per week (Variable hours Mon-Fri)


Contract:
Fixed term ( 29/08/2023 to 30/06/2023)

Salary:
£20,319 per annum

Milton Keynes College are looking to engage a team of
Student Support Workers to support our Bletchley and Chaffron Way campuses in Milton Keynes as we bring this academic year to a close.

We need a team of people to help support our students get across the finish line and achieve. You will work with a head of school and be allocated hours and students to work with. This could involve one-to-one meetings to identify needs, assess required support and signpost on to appropriate teams.


This would be regular hourly paid work for a short-term period, this could then lead on to similar work with us at the start of the next academic year supporting our incoming students for 2023/202- finding their way around our sites, accessing resources and maximising the learner experience.

Helping to create a positive atmosphere of engagement, enthusiasm, and respect and ensuring our learners know that support is always available to them.

This role is at the heart of the College value "Belonging," our intent is for all learners to feel part of the wider college community and to be invested in their learning experience.

This is a fast-paced and busy role which will require individuals with presence, excellent judgement and great communication skills. Confidence, empathy, compassion and positivity are vital in this role and full support will be provided.
