Field Studies Council Millport, Isle of Cumbrae, Scotland

£20,378 - £21,625 per annum, dependent on experience

Plus, excellent benefits

Full time hours per week - Permanent contract

Established in 1943, our network of Learning Locations provide day and residential courses for all ages, from young children to retired adults, from schools and communities throughout the UK, reaching many others through our publications and community-based programmes.


What you'll be doing
You will support our Education Team to carrying out a smooth delivery of our field courses and environmental activities.

This will involve preparing equipment and classrooms for learners of all abilities, ensuring areas are clean and safe for use.


We also have an aquarium on site, so part of this role will include contributing to feeding, cleaning, animal welfare checks, release of animals and animal handling.


You will be flexible to our ever-changing learning environment and be happy to assist where required to ensure our centre always runs efficiently.

Where you'll be based
The Field Studies Council Millport centre is situated on the Isle of Cumbrae in Scotland.

It has state of the art purpose-built conference facilities, twin bedroom ensuite accommodation with sea views, plus 7 teaching spaces comprising classrooms and laboratories.


We host learners of all ages and backgrounds from nursery schools, primary and secondary schools, universities, adults and research placements from all over the world.
