What can you expect?


We are recruiting for an enthusiastic
Quality Assistant to join our exciting Quality team on a full time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

This is a hybrid working role, which consists of home working and travel to our
Dorset base.


Within this role, you will assist the quality team in the delivery of contractual Quality Schedules to the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).

You will do so by supporting with data input, development, completion, and timely submission of HTG-UKs Quality reporting. You will also be regularly supporting the Quality Leads in the undertaking of Workplace Site Compliance Audits and Inspections.


As a
Quality Assistant, you will be the point of contact for our Station Managers, for all Quality related queries and ensure effective sharing of information.

You will also assist our in house
Patient Experience Team with Patient Contact Audits and presentation of Patient Experience Survey.


Salary:
£20,400 per annum


Main duties:


  • Collate IPC and Housekeeping compliance dates from Station Managers and populate quality dashboards.
  • Chase any outstanding quality data from all relevant departments.
  • Assist quality leads with the completion of the Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Quality reports.
  • Share quality reports and incident logs with Station Managers/Control Managers in order for them to display on notice boards.
  • Chase outstanding open incidents for outcomes.
  • Conduct Patient Contact audits to assist the PET team in achieving the 1% of all calls per quarter and assist with SMART action plan to address issues identified.
  • Assist quality leads with workplace inspection and audits.
  • Assist with completion of Site Assurance Audit Toolkit and any action plans from issues and risk identified.
  • Share learnings from good practice through staff stories and learnings from workplace inspections.
  • Support annual quality accounts.
  • Ad hoc project support to Head of Quality & Clinical Governance.

Person Specification:


  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Exhibit a passion for quality improvement
  • Ability to work comfortably under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Strong analytical and processing skills, with a keen mind for critical thinking
  • Demonstrable experience writing reports
  • Healthcare experience
