Your Role:
As a Senior EHS Specialist you will work in a small team to drive a developing safety culture in a Cell Culture Media production facility.
Aligning with our High Impact Culture you will support the introduction of new products by reviewing raw material and finished goods safety and review current systems of work.
You will help define and implement EHS strategies, provide training, and monitor risk assessments. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting internal and external audits, and supporting incident investigations.A committed advocate for EHS improvements, you will support emergency response drills and champion Be Safe and Be Healthy programs.
Serving as a central point of contact for regulatory bodies, you will assist in reviewing the safety of contractors on site, emphasizing your dedication to safety and environmental excellence.
Who You Are:
- Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in safety management (Essential)
- Degree or Equivalent in Biological or Chemical Science or Engineering (Desirable)
- Minimum of 5 years industry experience
- Experience of driving EHS improvements
- Experience of working in an environment where hazardous substances can be used
- Experience working in a GMP or manufacturing environment is desirable
